I Wish for...

It will take long to list all my wishes
But I'm sure that my King will grant
A love that's pure and healing
To rule in everybody's heart..

I'd like to wish for rainbows
And for some pots of gold
But I'd rather wish for peace
To spread thru the whole world..

Something that glitters would be lovely
But I would not really mind -
If my King will make all the stars
Sparkling up all night..

Shall I wish, my King, for angels -
To come down here and sing praises
To inspire us all with cheers
And fill our hearts with joy..

I wish for faith for the hopeless
And a home for the homeless
A shelter for every child on the street
And more than a penny for a beggar in need.

I have more wishes, my King
But how much more must I plea?
If none more, then this will be the last
And if you may, grant with your heart:

I wish my King be my friend
And I wish he will never forget
That once upon a December -
He met this Princess from somewhere..

Not Goodbye But Goodnight

Close your eyes, Daddy
And lay down to your rest,
We all know how much you're tired now-
Much more pain we wouldn't let.

We'll all stand close by,
But we'll only say 'Goodnight, Daddy'
And not the sad goodbye.

And worry for us no more,
The days ahead will be different-
But you'll just be up there for sure,
We know that you won't leave us
By closing your eyes we knew-
You'd be our angel in heaven
And you'll be watching us through.

As your presence here on Earth
Will be missed all the time,
But Daddy we assure you
That in our hearts you'll live,
So goodbye this is not gonna be-
But just goodnight in serenity.

But it will never be goodbye,
God awaits you in His embrace
While all the angels in Heaven sings-
Their hymns and praises as they welcome
Another child of our Almighty King.

There would never be another time

To hold and to be in this place

The wind touching our face

Brings our spirits a cold shiver.


I stare to nowhere

I can only see light

If this is where you can rest

We'll let go of your hand.


Our time together has gone

With love we journeyed on

If still a few remains now

Each breath means life undone.


There could not be another chance

As the last few leaves of the tree shall fall

But you'll never be alone

You're enclosed in our love

... and forever we shall hold.

I love you, Daddy. It is heartbreaking that this is happening now that we're a thousand miles apart. But know in your heart that I've never really been far. Rest if you must, but if you still can find strength to live - - - we are all here for you.

Never the Same

I looked at the sky and I remember -
How looking in your eyes sends me to a world I've never known..
How watching your lips smile lifts me up to the heavens..
How feeling your touch envelopes me into a space only you & I exists..
And how everything would never ever be the same.

I could have lost you but not the memories..
I would always be glad I have them
To keep and to hold close -
I will never ever be the same.

Of all the things I want to remember..
It would be the moments when you & me are together..
And I would travel back thru time -
To get into that moment when I first looked into your eyes.

Just Maybe..

It feels strange knowing you'd soon be far

I don't wanna say goodbye but goodnight

And maybe, just maybe -

'Until next time' is just alright...

Thought we're not sure if we'll cross our paths again

Maybe one day, someday, who knows?

Serendipity may get in our way.

For now, I'll whisper my prayers

And send my kisses thru the angels

Not wanting to close my eyes

Coz it'd be another day less that you'd stay.

It's sad for me that you would go

But I will look forward to that day

When I'd look closely into those eyes once more

Who knows? Maybe, just maybe -

Serendipity will get in our way.

And then I knew

How the heart could be so numb

Plainly beating

Unwelcoming.

Staring blankly

Not wanting to hear a sound

I.. A Fine Poem

I don't pretend, I don't lie.
I don't have wings but I am an angel to some.
I may frown and I may cry -
But I can cheer you up, I can make you smile.
I may have done mistakes and lest have sinned -
Just another human who repented for her sins.
I did get hurt, been broken and torned..
But I picked up the pieces and have moved on.
I am a painting without a frame,
Or a song without a tune..
A colored sketch on a paper..
And some words written..
A fine poem.

The Wind

I gave myself to the wind
And it carried me to where you are
When I met you, I kissed the skies
And I danced in swirls like the fallen leaves
Would not want to touch the ground.

I made friends with the wind
And flewn free like a kite
I explored the skies holding your hand
The wind caresses me like your embrace
You could not be so far.

I felt the wind all around me
Keeping me afloat in the heavens, beyond the skies
But it is not really the wind that carries me
It’s you, my love, who kept me high
Carry me. Love me. Don’t stop. Never tire.

The Place

The moment you found me-

It was like I found the place I have longed all my life to be.

I know that I have been threading the journey in the past until now

From where I am before, to where I am now

Because this is where you’ll find me.

In this place,

Where you have been pulling me towards you all this time

And it is only now that I knew

That I have been falling towards you all my life.

The first smile you put on my lips speaks of the enchantment I felt

Even before meeting you

And which I knew would not end there.

How you are making me feel was unspeakable

Each moment with you is eternity

Every beat of my heart goes only to you.

If I could be with you only in my dreams

I would just close my eyes and fall into sleep and be with you.

I wanted to be lost in the feel of your embrace

When your strong arms would hold me like you’ll never let me go

And I will stay there forever.

The magic will go on

Even when the stars would stop sparkling

And the fairies would sleep on us

I don’t need pixie dusts to be able to fly

Because my heart can soar on its own with your love.

And I will turn like a waterwheel

Not wanting to stop, not wanting to end…

Continuously bathing in all of you…

Only wanting to love you.

I will paint images of you in the skies,

I will say your name over and over like a refrain,

I will greet each sunrise with a smile

And I will rest my body at night hearing our songs.

I will be with you because there’s nowhere else for me to be

Surreal

How do I feel you?

When we are oceans away

And distance separates us.

Each time I close my eyes

I feel your spirit touching me

Touching my face…

Touching my body…

It felt warm on my skin.

I can feel your lips touching mine

Sending me shivers and thrills

I can hear your whispers in my ear

Your fingers in the strands of my hair…

Your breath on my nape..

It’s all taking me away.

But it stays with me

And I’d just let my eyes remain shut

Because you will slip away

The moment I get back

To the reality of my world

That I don’t really have you

When the dawn is not yet breaking

And the cold night envelopes my solitude

When the empty bed got no allure

I would just lie down lonely

Barefooted soul comes at the risk of the dawn

Wandering through images of what the morning sun borne

Fleets of hope marveled then gently had gone

The wind above southeast had flown.

 

Regretful of romance that came halfway then

Memories drawn are but silhouettes of the past

No more looking back for it would just hurt

Second chances have all been gone.

 

Dreams had flown through the horizon

Every little wish had fell from the skies

The wounds strengthened the innocence of heart

And no place for blame was ever known.

 

Yesterday had gone at the rise of the sun

Laughters have all been heard; tears have all been poured

Everything that matters are now shadows where I stand

Not a single pain remains to hold me back.

Voices taunts your ears -

You hear what they cannot hear..

In the darkest shade,

Colours flows and blends -

You see what they cannot see..

One chaotic world we live in -

A paradise in your eyes

Music and color embraces your soul..

Feet dancing, voices singing..

Do, re, mi tunes on air

A guitar string's plucked

Better get your sticks

And bang up a drum.

You can walk over the rainbow,

Your mind wander beyond the clouds

No, you aren't living in dreams

For your feet lies flat on the ground.

A leaf fall, birds hum a song

Pick a pen and write a poem

Few lines may come before dawn

Tomorrow's memories are born.

Melancholy is a companion

There lies in you -

A great power of imagination.

Tears might not show the hurt,

And a smile couldn't mean you're glad..

They laugh at you at times

They just don't understand why..

The artist in you breaks out -

And that's what I admire in you

No doubt.

Silhouettes danced where the wind pleases

I vowed – melancholies on my head

Shadows waved on me

There’s nowhere to find gaiety

Butterflies somersaulted inside

A treacherous smile had cried

Soothsay’s nothing to tell

I bid goodbye to the day

The night seemed too long

There goes a lonely, drawling tone

Tears caressed my cheek

As two hearts unite, mine bleeds

One solitary world that is –

I’d traverse without you near.

Nightmare

The wind ungently touched me

Without words… nor signs

I shivered in cold

Yet, there’s no one I can hold

My eyes are too blind to see-

Anything in the dark…

It was night.

I’m in fear and I’m lost

There’s nowhere to run

And I stumbled alone.

A deafening silence covered my ears.

I closed my eyes.

The darkness embraced me.

Tears kissed my face.

I shouted but no one hears.

I’m so afraid.

And yet no one cares.
